Jansson will start for Leeds against Bolton on Tuesday night.

Jansson, 27, returned to training last month after representing Sweden at the World Cup, who surpassed expectation to reach the last eight of the competition before losing 2-0 to England.
He has been left on the bench by Bielsa during Leeds’ opening two fixtures against Derby County and Stoke City, which have both seen the Whites earn excellent 4-1 and 3-1 wins.
Now, Jansson is expected to start in the Carabao Cup clash against Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night, and he believes Bielsa’s intense sessions were much-needed after Christiansen’s training hardly tested the Leeds squad.
“It’s very long sessions, much longer than the last two years here,” Jansson said. “I’m used to that from Italy to be fair. Longer training sessions with more tactics, preparing earlier in the week for games.
“I heard pre-season was also long and hard and they ran a lot, but that’s what you have to do. We needed this pre-season, the last one we had [under Christiansen] was not that hard. 46 games; you have to stay fit, and if you don’t, you get injured.
“Long, long sessions, not too many possession games but a lot of tactical work, high intensity, lots of sprints.”

Leeds started well under Christiansen, but tailed off after the first handful of games and that could have been down to a lack of fitness – with the Championship’s 46 fixtures coming thick and fast.
The Whites will be looking to continue momentum against Bolton, with Bielsa already confirming that Jamal Blackman, Tom Pearce, Lewis Baker, Jack Harrison, Patrick Bamford and Jamie Shackleton will start alongside Jansson.
Leeds then face Yorkshire outfit Rotherham on Saturday at Elland Road, in a match they will be expected to win.
