Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has been linked with a move to Southampton in recent times.
Pontus Jansson has suggested to FotbollSkanalen in Sweden that he is planning for life at Leeds United next season.
Jansson’s impressive form at Elland Road this campaign has already seen speculation rise that the centre-back could leave this summer.
Southampton are said to be interested in signing Jansson (Daily Star), as they feel he is capable of playing in the Premier League.

However, Jansson’s comments suggest that he is only thinking about playing for Leeds next season.
“Leeds are a fairly young team and maybe that showed close to the end and we slipped down in the final rounds, unfortunately,” Jansson said.
“But it’s still a good year, Leeds got to its feet, got the fans back, and it’s a great atmosphere around the club. There have been many turbulent times. Now we start to build on something that maybe we were not ready this year, but hopefully next year.”

Jansson’s partnership with Kyle Bartley was a major reason behind Leeds’ success this term.
Jansson and Bartley were rock solid throughout the campaign, but their pairing could be broken up.
Bartley’s loan at Swansea City has expired, and Paul Clement has confirmed that he wants the centre-back to be at the Liberty Stadium next term.
Leeds ended up finishing in seventh place this season, despite occupying a place in the play offs for much of the campaign.
