The Leeds United defender has been an instant hit at Elland Road.
Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has been speaking to Afton Bladet about the Christmas song the Elland Road faithful sing about him.
The loanee has gone down a storm at Leeds since arriving from Torino in the summer, featuring 14 times to date and looking every inch a Whites hero in the making.

With the festive season upon us, Jansson is the latest player to be the subject of a Christmas song, but when asked about it he was honest in his appraisal.
“When I’m on the pitch, I think not so much,” Jansson told Afton Bladet. “I like being cheered by the supporters.”
Leeds made a number of new additions in the summer, shortly after Garry Monk’s arrival as manager, and Jansson is certainly the best of the bunch based on his performances so far.

The club’s supporters will be desperate to see his temporary move made permanent in January, once he hits the compulsory 20-appearance mark for the deal to be completed, and from there Jansson could well go on to become an all-time Leeds great.
Expect the songs to continue, but do not expect him to be paying close attention to the lyrics as he focuses instead on each and every match.
