The Swedish defender has picked up ten yellow cards for Leeds United.
Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has been discussing his disciplinary record this season, after his recent suspension for picking up 10 yellow cards came to an end.
Jansson is available for Garry Monk again for tonight’s clash with Nottingham Forest as his suspension comes to an end.
He has picked up 10 bookings in just 21 appearances for Leeds, including for his somewhat over exuberant celebrations.

But speaking to Sydsvenskan this week he admitted he could not change his style of play, as it would make him lesser the player:
“I do not know why it has become like this. But there are a lot of emotions when I’m on the pitch. I’ve pulled on me many unnecessary warnings because of the fuss and commotion.
“Maybe I will think a little extra in the future, but I cannot change who I am, because I will not be as good.”
Leeds United fans would certainly agree. They love the Swede’s passionate attitude toward playing for the club and would not want that to diminish in any way because of disciplinary issues.

Jansson is the type of player that wears his heart on his sleeve and that is why Leeds fans love him. The odd suspension, is worth it.
Leeds are hopeful they can conclude a permanent move for Jansson soon. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that personal terms are already agreed between the player and the club, so it seems this deal is on the brink of completion, if he plays his 22ndgame for Leeds this evening.
