Olivier Giroud has revealed that Hugo Lloris would quite like to play for Arsenal one day.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has revealed that he’s had conversations with Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris about becoming an Arsenal player.
Lloris has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the Premier League this season but Giroud’s comments have come out of the blue, with Arsenal shot stopper Wojciech Szczesny rewarded with a new long term contract for his form earlier this season.
“We go out together and talk about everything – Have I asked him (Lloris) to join Arsenal? Yes, I have with Lolo (Laurent Koscielny). He would have liked to, he would quite like to. You will have to ask him the question,” said Giroud.
| Player | Club | Pos | Saves | Apps | Mins |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wojciech Szczesny | Arsenal | GK | 80 | 25 | 2,250 |
| Hugo Lloris | Spurs | GK | 69 | 24 | 2,160 |
Our question for Arsenal fans is not about the controversy of a Tottenham player moving to Arsenal, it’s about whether Lloris would be a better goalkeeper for the Gunners than Szczesny, who has been a main stay in the side throughout the season.
