The Everton and Tottenham Hotspur forwards have been on fire this season, but which would you rather have at your club?

This weekend, Tottenham Hotspur will come up against Everton in the Premier League; a fixture which will see two former Southampton managers go head to head. In many ways, the two sides have had similar seasons, gaining their success in similar ways, and also struggling at times for the same reasons.
Both with managers who instil free-flowing, attacking football in their sides, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are two teams who have both flourished by giving their youth a go over the last few years. Spurs are still reaping the rewards of having faith in players like Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Danny Rose, whereas Everton are now seeing a new crop of talent emerge, such as Tom Davies and new signing Ademola Lookman.
The two teams are pushing for European football, and are therefore on similar paths. However, they also both suffer from similar problems. The most glaring of which, is their reliance on one particular striker.

Harry Kane has again been in sensational form this season, scoring 17 Premier League goals and making 4 assists so far this season. However, the strikers stand-in, Vincent Janssen, who joined Spurs in the summer from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, has struggled at times to fill the England forward’s boots, and their is a nervousness amongst Spurs fans that, should Kane get injured, the side might struggle.
The same anxieties are present at Everton. Top scorer Romelu Lukaku, who has also scored 17 goals and made 4 assists this season, is the main focal point for Everton, with the club not having another striker at the club that could even come close to producing the kind of goals he can.

Without a doubt, both strikers are two of the most exciting young forwards in both Premier League football and world football. Kane, who is only 23-years-old, has already scored a massive 86 goals for Spurs, and could join the famous 100 club by the age of 25!
Romelu Lukaku’s statistics are just as impressive. Also 23-years-old, Lukaku has scored 79 goals in 154 appearances for Everton so far, as well as scoring 17 goals in 38 games during a loan spell at West Bromwich Albion in 2012-13.
