Liverpool fans had their say on Andy Carroll’s feature in our poll earlier this week- Here are the results.
At the start of the week we ran an article asking if being sent on loan was the best option for Andy Carroll, to escape the Anfield spotlight and re-discover his form.
There were fans who agreed, but the majority did not feel it was the best option for player and club.
A majority of 40 per cent of respondents said they wanted Carroll sold this summer.
26 per cent of fans said the club should keep the much maligned striker, believing he will eventually come good.
22 per cent agreed he should be loaned and brought back a better player, with the remaining 11 per cent believing he should be loaned, to let his transfer value rise, and then Liverpool should cash in.
One interesting response was in the comments section, which a reader suggesting Kenny Dalglish should be sacked this summer, and Andy Carroll’s future left to the discretion of the new manager.
