As the first piece of silverware this season draws ever closer, HITC Sport is asking you to vote on who you think will be making it through to the League Cup final out of Hull City and Manchester United. The Tigers, now managed by former Olympiakos boss Marco Silva, will be desperate to bring some joy to their suffering fans this season. Whereas Jose Mourinho, in his first season at the helm at Old Trafford, will be keen on a first trophy for his tenure.

After goals from Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini in the first leg of this EFL Cup tie, Manchester United take a firm 2-0 into the game, that Hull City are looking unlikely to overcome. However, the Tigers showed a lot of promise in their recent loss away at Chelsea, and will be hoping to impress their fans with a spirited fight-back at home. New signings Evandro and Niasse could both feature, as well as returning striker Abel Hernandez, whilst Ryan Mason and Marcus Henriksen will miss out due to injuries.

United could well name a similar side to the one that started the last leg, giving starts to Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney. With two goals already in the bag, Manchester United may well line up much more defensively, as Jose Mourinho looks to secure their play in the final.

So who do you think will come out on top in this game? Will Hull City engineer a remarkable comeback? Or have United done enough already? Vote for your winner and first player to score below!
