Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly battling Premier League trio Wolves, Watford and West Ham to sign Copenhagen’s Robert Skov.

There is a Danish playmaker shining in Europe right now; an attacker who seems to get better by the season with a deadly free-kick in his locker. And no, we aren’t talking about Christian Eriksen.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham are looking at the 22-year-old Copenhagen talisman Robert Skov – a hugely promising talent who could potentially replace Eriksen in North London with the influential midfielder continually being linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Skov, who is also a target for West Ham, Wolves and Watford, has scored a remarkable 24 goals in all competitions. Not a bad tally for a player who usually starts on the right hand side.

But for all his potential, and those impressive statistics, Tottenham fans are unconvinced. You won’t need reminding that Spurs haven’t spent a penny in each of the last two transfer windows and suggestions that they could move for a 22-year-old who plays his football in Denmark has fans once again questioning the club’s ambition.
You’d imagine Danny Rose might be inclined to agree.
But the cynics would do well to remember that Luka Modric, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen didn’t arrive in North London from one of Europe’s biggest leagues either.
