Manchester United may want to take note of Paul Pogba’s previous praise for Eduardo Camavinga if they are serious about signing him.
According to the Daily Mail, United are considering a move for the highly sort after Rennes wonderkid.
The 18-year-old is already tipped as one of the game’s brightest stars, thanks to his mature performances in Ligue 1 and Europe last season.
He played 39 times across all competitions and was capped three times for the French senior side.
Camavinga’s contract runs out next June, with Rennes readily preparing for life without their teenage talent.
A potential transfer to Old Trafford would put him alongside Pogba again, the pair having already linked up on international duty.
What has Pogba said about Camavinga before?
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can call upon his midfielder’s statement from last winter if he wants any more information on the French youngster.

In a press conference, as covered by Le Parisien, Pogba paid tribute to his youthful compatriot.
“I followed his (Camavinga) matches in Ligue 1, he’s young but he’s like Kylian (Mbappe), you don’t talk to him about age.
“He already has a maturity, a serenity that I didn’t have at his age, and that a lot of players don’t have.
“It’s a pleasure to see him put on this jersey, score his first goal, it was beautiful.

“I only wish him the best, and even more because he has everything to succeed. The future is in his hands. He is also comfortable as a person.”
A potential partnership between Pogba and Camavinga could certainly serve United well.
Clearly there is a connection between the two, as well as a mutual respect that can only act as a positive.
Especially for Solskjaer, who is still searching for the best version of the Red Devil’s record signing.
However, potentially signing Camavinga might be bad news for United’s other midfielders, who will be looking over their shoulders nervously.
