German international Lukas Podolski is refusing to be drawn on whether he’ll return to Arsenal or stay at loan club Inter in the long term.
Lukas Podolski started life on loan to Inter with a 1-1 draw against Juventus and stressed how much he enjoyed playing for the San Siro side.
Having been forced to spectate for much of the season at Arsenal, Podolski must be relishing the possibility of regular first-team football while on loan at Inter.
“Will I stay beyond the end of my loan? It’s difficult to say, I’ve only been here a short time,” he said during an Inter press conference.
“I have only played in one Serie A match, but my goal is to help Inter for five or six months.
“After that we will see if there are talks between Arsenal and Inter. At the moment I have to concentrate on the immediate future without looking beyond.
“All the matters is the football that is played, the rest is secondary.”
