Tottenham Hotspur currently occupy fifth spot in the Premier League table.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s disappointing 1-1 draw with West Ham United at Wembley last night, and responded when asked if he is worried that his team might miss out on the top four this season, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.
Tottenham currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League table, three points adrift of fourth placed Liverpool, and with the Reds firing on all cylinders, the Lilywhites could very well have their work cut-out if they hope to catch Jürgen Klopp’s men.

Pochettino addressed the media after last night’s 1-1 draw with the Hammers, and responded when asked if the possibility of missing out on the Champions League places this season is a major concern for the club, as quoted by Football.London:
Mauricio Pochettino
“I am not thinking, I am not worried. We are in the middle of the season. I think we are close. We miss the opportunity today but I think we are close.”
Spurs have to switch their focus to the FA Cup this weekend, when they welcome AFC Wimbledon to Wembley on Sunday.
Premier League duties resume the following weekend with a home game against Everton, and Tottenham cannot afford too many more slip-ups, if they are to finish the season inside the top four.
