Tottenham Hotspur will be leaving White Hart Lane at the end of this season.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference, and discussed his side’s impending move to Wembley Stadium next season, whilst their new 61,000 capacity arena continues to be developed, as quoted by Football.London.
Tottenham have been in superb form in the Premier League, especially at White Hart Lane. Pochettino’s men have won 15 of their 17 home games this term, drawing the other two, but they will not have the comfort of playing at the Lane next season.
The Lilywhites have been woeful when playing their home matches at Wembley Stadium, however, in what has been a worrying preview of how they might struggle to replicate this term’s success next season.
The North London outfit lost again at the North-West London venue on Saturday, when Chelsea emerged victorious from their FA Cup semi final clash.
The Argentine, though, was adamant that he is not concerned by his side’s tepid displays at the home of the national team, insisting that they have been competitive whenever they have played there during the campaign, as quoted by Football.London:

“I am not worried, I am so honest. If you analyse all the games, it will be different if we move there next season. I am not worried, the team played so well against Chelsea and against Gent with ten players. We beat CSKA in the last Champions League game. Against Monaco and Leverkusen they were games we didn’t play well but we competed. I am not worried. Now we need to be focused and try to find a way to feel comfortable there and win games if we move next season.”
The pitch dimensions at Wembley (105m x 68m) are much bigger than those at White Hart Lane (100 x 67 metres), according to the Independent, and that will certainly be something that Tottenham have to look at, if they are to enjoy a successful campaign at home next season.
They will have to either make the pitch smaller, to match the size of the pitch at the Lane, or find a way of playing a different, more expansive style that would be more suited to a larger field.
