Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has suggested to Football.London that Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth could feature against AFC Wimbledon this weekend.

Spurs will take on AFC Wimbledon at the Wembley Stadium in London in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The Premier League club will head into the match as favourites and should win the tie quite comfortably.

Manager Pochettino is likely to give chances to a number of fringe players, given that Spurs are very much in the race for the Premier League top four and will have Champions League football next month.

Tottenham manager Pochettino has suggested that 20-year-old full-back Walker-Peters and 19-year-old centre-back Foyth could feature against AFC Wimbledon.

Pochettino told Football.London when asked if Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth could start against AFC Wimbledon: “Yes, maybe. Yes they have the possibility to play, of course.”

Walker-Peters is a very talented and promising young full-back, and it would make sense for Pochettino to include him in the starting lineup.

Foyth joined Tottenham in the summer of 2017, and the Argentine defender could do with some playing time.
