The Tottenham Hotspur star has been in excellent form recently.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media yesterday during his pre-match press conference, and suggested that Heung-Min Son could be in contention to win this season’s Player of the Year award, as quoted by Football.London.
The 26-year-old has been in excellent form for Spurs this season, racking up an impressive 14 goals and nine assists in 30 appearances in all competitions thus far.
Son has been a vital player for the Lilywhites, especially over the past few weeks, with Harry Kane and Dele Alli both being absent because of injury.
The South Korean is widely considered to be one of the Premier League’s most dangerous attackers, and Pochettino responded when asked by reporters yesterday if the Tottenham ace is on track to be named Player of the Year this season, as quoted by Football.London:

“After November, yes. After the international break when he started against Chelsea. He could be a contender, in the last few months he’s done well.”
Tottenham are currently right in the mix in the race for the Premier League title, and if they are to have any chance of ending their 58-year wait for a top flight crown, Son will have to be on his very best form between now and May.
And if Spurs do win the league, the South Korea international will have every chance of winning the POTY award.
