Georges-Kevin N’Koudou joined Burnley on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou joined Burnley on loan from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.
The 22-year-old winger was struggling for playing time at Tottenham, and the youngster will hope to make an impact at Burnley and get valuable minutes.
The French club moved to Spurs from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be £9 million.
N’Koudou has played a total of 36 minutes in two Premier League appearances for Burnley so far, according to WhoScored.

The former France Under-21 international is going to face competition for a place in Sean Dyche’s starting lineup from Aaron Lennon.
The 30-year-old former Tottenham winger recently moved to the Clarets from Everton in the January transfer window on a permanent contract.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino seems to be looking forward to seeing how N’Koudou copes with the challenge from Lennon in regard to establishing himself as a regular in the Burnley first team during the second half of the season, and has suggested that he wants the youngster to prove himself at Turf Moor.

Pochettino told Yahoo! Sport when asked if he is concerned about N’Koudou getting enough playing time at Burnley due to the signing of Lennon: “It’s not only this.
“For us, I think the most important thing is the player lives a different experience. Tottenham is such a beautiful place for younger players. Not every place is like this, or different clubs don’t provide you with the same things that Tottenham provide.
“But I hope he can play more and can prove that he can compete in the Premier League, and then get the experience that it’s difficult to provide for him here. Of course it’s more competition now with Aaron at Burnley too.”
