Dele Alli has not been in great form for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season.

Alli is one of the best young players in the world and is a key figure in the current Tottenham midfield.
The England international midfielder, though, has not been in great form so far this season.
Spurs manager Pochettino has suggested why the 21-year-old attacking midfielder has not been at his best so far this season.
Pochettino has also stated that the former Milton Keynes Dons youngster will return to his best soon.

“I think for many reasons, that maybe you must read about in my next book, it’s normal for Dele after two very successful seasons – or one and a half… it was a strange pre-season, a difficult pre-season for him for different reasons, and then he was banned and of course it can affect the motivation about preparing himself to compete,” Pochettino told Football.London when asked if Alli was affected by not being able to play in the Champions League so far this season.
“I think the last three games that he’s played, we’re happy with his performances, and I think it’s increasing, his level,” added Pochettino.
“I’m not worried about him. Maybe he’s disappointed with himself that he’s not at his best but it’s coming, like winter is coming.”

Alli has scored three goals and provided one assist in 10 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the 21-year-old midfielder scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in 35 league starts for the North London outfit.
Tottenham will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on Real Madrid at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Champions League.
