One of Tottenham Hotspur’s key men still has another level to reach, according to his manager.
Speaking to reporters during his pre-match press conference, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino discussed the recent form of Christian Eriksen, and insisted that there is still a lot more to come from the Dane, as quoted by the Mirror.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season so far for Tottenham, statistically at least, with a return of five goals and seven assists in 19 Premier League appearances, but he has still found himself to be the target of criticism from Spurs fans, who feel as though he doesn’t influence big games as much as he should do.

And Pochettino seems to agree with the notion that he could be even more productive for the Lilywhites, and told reporters how he still has another level that he is yet to reach, as quoted by the Mirror:
“He’s a very talented player and we’re very happy with him. But he’s another player that can improve. In the last few months he’s improved a lot. We need to push him to try to get another level.”

With games away at Manchester City and Liverpool to come over the month ahead, Eriksen has a great opportunity to prove his worth to Spurs at the highest level, and if he can just continue to play in the manner in which he has been over this past month or so, he will have every chance of doing just that.
