After Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino watched a recent Barcelona B match, we consider three potential targets.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino was pictured watching Barcelona B’s match against Numancia this weekend.

So as you would expect when a football boss is spotted checking out new talent, we have drawn up a list of three possible players he could have been scouting.

Tottenham are in the middle of a strange season, their domestic form suggesting Pochettino is still some way off finding – and sticking to – his best team with a number of senior players performing well below their best. But the following players could certainly add quality to Spurs’ squad, either on loan or on a permanent basis.

Sergi Samper

Sergi Samper has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in the past and that is no surprise given his ability. The 19-year-old defensive midfielder was linked with a possible move to White Hart Lane during Andre Villas-Boas’s time at the club but could Pochettino be the man to sign him?

He has 50 games under his belt for Barcelona B but only one for the senior side and his lack of chances has been the reason cited by previous reports that he could move on despite his desire to make it at the Nou Camp.

Sandro Ramirez

Tottenham are in desperate need of additional fire-power and 19-year-old Sandro Ramirez could be a solution having already scored three goals for Barcelona’s first-team this season.

Goals in La Liga against Villarreal and Levante were scored in a total of just 59 minutes on the pitch while he also found the net against Ajax in the Champions League.

Adama Traore

Winger Adama Traore is a beast of a footballer at just 18 and with a contract that expires this summer his future remains in some doubt. Barcelona will not want to lose him but even if they do tie him to a new contract as expected a loan move could benefit all parties.

He has scored six goals and set up a further 10 for Barca B and his potential really is frightening.
