The South Korea international has produced some excellent performances for Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Son Heung-min can become an icon in South Korea much like David Beckham is a worldwide superstar.
Son has produced some excellent performances for Tottenham this season and has scored nine goals in 26 appearances across all competitions.
Pochettino feels that Son is capable of becoming an iconic figure.
Asked if Son could rival Beckham’s status, as reported by goal, Pochettino said: “Yes, that is what we think. But we cannot prove this.
“When you talk about Beckham, he’s a massive world icon. Maybe it’s like this with Sonny. But here he’s so humble, and he’s such a normal guy. That makes him so important to us.”

Now in his third season at Tottenham, Son has proven to be an inspired signing and has demonstrated that he is capable of thriving whether deployed out wide, behind the striker or up front.
A valuable member of Pochettino’s squad, the 25-year-old has continued to work hard even when he has been omitted from the starting lineup and has frequently seized the opportunities that have come his way.

Currently in sixth place in the Premier League going into tonight’s game away to Swansea City, Tottenham face a major battle to secure a top four finish, while they will hope for a lengthy run in the Champions League and get their FA Cup campaign underway at the weekend with a third round tie at home to AFC Wimbledon.
