Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to end their 11-year wait for a major trophy this season.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media today ahead of his side’s clash with Aston Villa tomorrow, and shared what he has told his players ahead of the new season, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs finished in fourth spot in the Premier League last term, but they will be expecting to make drastic improvements this season.
Pochettino has made some great new signings including Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso.
And with this players now on board, Tottenham look like a serious outfit.
The Argentine boss sat down for his pre-match press conference today, and shared with reporters what he has told his players heading into the new campaign, as quoted by Football.London:

“I tell the players they are top players, all the players involved in Tottenham, they are top players. Of course, you prefer to have good quality and to make competitive with each other to be better, and of course it is a long season over ten months. It is tough and you will use different players in different competitions. If you want to be consistent and challenge, you need to have that competition in the squad.”
Spurs proved last season that they can mix it with the very best.
And if their new signings hit the ground running this term, there is no reason why Tottenham cannot push Manchester City and Liverpool all the way in the race for the Premier League title.
