Tottenham Hotspur still haven’t moved into their stadium yet.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told the London Evening Standard that there is new hope that the club will move into their new stadium this season.

Spurs were hoping to move into their new stadium for the start of the season, but ended up pushing the move-in date back to the September 15th clash with Liverpool.

That date wasn’t met either, and as the season has gone on, more and more proposed move-in dates have been missed as Spurs have suffered a host of delays.

A recent test event gave Spurs encouragement, but with more and more games announced at Wembley, fans have been losing hope that they will be in their new home before the start of next season.

However, there has been one source of hope, and that’s because the March 17th clash with Crystal Palace has been postponed after the Eagles’ FA Cup exploits.

The Premier League must rearrange that fixture for later in the season, and there’s a chance that the delay in that fixture could give Spurs a chance to play in their new home.

Now, boss Pochettino has admitted that chairman Daniel Levy is ‘very positive’ having met with him yesterday, and whilst he still thinks moving into the new stadium will be tough, there is reason to be more positive now.

“I saw Daniel yesterday and he’s very positive,” said Pochettino. “I still think it’s going to be tough, but that was before Palace went through in the FA Cup and we changed the game. Many things have happened to make us more positive, to believe that we can move before the end of the season,” he added.
