Tottenham Hotspur’s Moussa Sissoko is in top form right now.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told the Daily Mail that his players are delighted to see fans changing their opinions on Moussa Sissoko this season.
Spurs were in action again on Wednesday night, taking on Inter Milan in a crucial Champions League clash just days after beating Chelsea 3-1 at Wembley Stadium.
It looked like being a frustrating draw for Spurs as they toiled against a well-organised Inter defence, but they finally made the breakthrough with 10 minutes to play as Christian Eriksen fired home the winner.
Sissoko’s driving run opened up the Inter defence, and when Dele Alli swivelled inside the area, he picked out Eriksen to slam the ball into the roof of the net and give Spurs a vital three points.
Tottenham now take qualification for the knockout stages of the competition into the final game of the group stage, and whilst a daunting trip to Barcelona is on the horizon, the Catalan giants should be fearing Sissoko right now.
The Frenchman has mostly been a punchline since his 2016 move from Newcastle United, but is really changing minds this season, with fans really starting to warm to the midfielder after a series of fine performances.

Now, Pochettino has revealed that the Tottenham squad are ‘so happy’ that Spurs fans are changing their minds about Sissoko, noting himself that fans weren’t so positive, but he has always believed in his 2016 signing.
“I think first of all his team-mates are so happy that the fans now show the love,” said Pochettino. “I remember a few games here that the fans – because we are here, we feel and listen to everything – a month ago were not so positive, last season or the previous season. Then I remember one day that I hugged him and said you’re going to succeed here [and] after I work with him.”
“All the players when we are at this level have the capacity and the quality to play, that is why they are here. But they need to feel the confidence, the trust, the love. Moussa had a tough period from the beginning, but now he is starting to feel free and he was key for the moment we scored the goal. He was a key part of the success,” he added.
