Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has found himself to be the target of heavy criticism of late.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino explained how he used his free week with the squad to address three key aspects throughout the course of a series of both team and individual meetings, as quoted by the Sun.
Tottenham have really struggled since their 2-0 home win over Manchester City back on October 2nd, winning only one Premier League game since then, and crashing out of the Champions League with one group game still remaining.

And Pochettino explained how he went about addressing Spurs’ poor run of form, when speaking to reporters, highlighting three areas that were focused upon, as quoted by the Sun:
“We have had time to be calm and analyse all that happened in the last month. When you are constantly playing and travelling it is difficult to be calm and stop. It’s been a good opportunity to see the bigger picture. There has been a lot of individual and collective meetings. We looked at tactical decisions, behaviour, attitude and different things to try.”

For the first time during his tenure at White Hart Lane, the Argentine is being questioned for both his methods and ability, and it will be how he and his side emerge from this tricky spell that will arguably define his reputation as a manger in the long-term.
They welcome Swansea City to White Hart Lane today, and Pochettino will be desperate for his side to pick up all three points, as they look to keep the pressure on Arsenal above them in the table.
