The Tottenham Hotspur star was superb against Arsenal at Wembley today.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s superb 1-0 win over bitter rivals Arsenal at Wembley today, and raved about the performance of Mousa Dembele, labelling the Belgian as a genius, as quoted by Football.London.
The 30-year-old joined Tottenham from Fulham in the summer of 2012, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £15 million, and has since gone on to become one of the club’s most important players.
Dembele really is a world-class performer, but his less than impressive track record with injuries has arguably stood in the way of him becoming a truly elite player.

The Belgium international was at his very best today, dictating the tempo of the game from a deep-lying position, and driving his side on from the very first whistle against the Gunners.
Pochettino singled Dembele out for praise, during his post-match press conference, labelling the Spurs man as an ‘unbelievable player’, as quoted by Football.London:

“There is no doubt that like I have told you many times, for me he (Dembele) is a genius, and unbelievable player. But we must be careful about his fitness, it is good and he can train and, he can make this type of performance because he is a great talented player.”
Next up for Tottenham is the first-leg of their Champions League tie against Juventus in Turin on Tuesday night, and Dembele will have to be at his brilliant best, if his side are to have any chance of returning to London with anything to show for their efforts.
