The Tottenham Hotspur ace was in sensational form against Manchester United last night.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s superb 2-0 win over Manchester United at Wembley Stadium last night, and raved about the performance of Christian Eriksen, sharing how he will make the club’s academy players watch a video of the Dane’s display, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.
Tottenham closed the gap on those above them in the table with last night’s win, and now sit just two points adrift of the Champions League places.

They were set on their way by Eriksen after just 10 seconds against Jose Mourinho’s men, and saw out the game in excellent fashion, eventually running out as comfortable winners.
Pochettino addressed the media during his post-match press conference, and lavished praise upon the 25-year-old playmaker, sharing how he will be using a video of his performance to help the club’s young academy stars, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London:

“I think it was a great performance from Christian. Christian is such an important player for us not because today he was great and he scored, but he’s a player that links everyone and of course when he’s not in the team we always miss him. He’s a player that you miss on the pitch. The action that is so important is to see Christian Eriksen – the belief. The run he made is fantastic. There’s no waiting to see what happen – to decide, anticipate, read the action is so important. That is one to show the academy players on video.”
Things don’t get any easier for Spurs, with games against Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus all to come in the next two weeks, and Eriksen will have to be at his very best, if they are to emerge from that period unscathed.
