Tottenham Hotspur welcome Real Madrid to Wembley in the Champions League tomorrow.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media during his post-match press conference, ahead of his side’s crucial Champions League game against Real Madrid tomorrow night, and provided an update on Harry Kane’s fitness, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.

Tottenham have really struggled in the absence of the 24-year-old, after he sustained a hamstring injury against Liverpool nine days ago, losing consecutive games against West Ham United and Manchester United in the Carabao Cup and the Premier League respectively.

The England international has been in sensational form for the Lilywhites this term, scoring 13 goals in 12 appearances in all competitions, and he has firmly established himself as one of Europe’s most feared strikers.

And Pochettino told reporters how he is ‘very confident’ that Kane will be able to feature against the European champions at Wembley tomorrow night, as quoted by Football.London:

“We’ve very confident, he’s on the list. We have 1 more day to assess him but maybe it’s possible he can play tomorrow but I don’t want to say 100% because we have one more day. Today and yesterday was good at training. Now its with the medical staff and everyone to try to take the right decision because it is important to take the right decision.”
