Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keeping a close eye on the Portuguese winger.

According to a report from the Sunday Times, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is an admirer of AS Monaco player Bernardo Silva.
The problem is his current club allegedly want at least £68.4million for his signature.
That would surely rule him out of a move to White Hart Lane…unless Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is about to break the habit of a lifetime.
The Times report claims that Chelsea want to beat Silva’s many other suitors to the punch by signing the 22-year-old but that Monaco believe an auction may develop if other big clubs get involved in the bidding this summer.

Silva is predominantly a right winger who can also operate on the opposite flank or as a number 10 if required, and there is no doubt he would considerably improve Tottenham’s attacking options.
That said, even if Monaco do not get close to the huge price they are reportedly hoping for, it would surely take a club record offer from Tottenham to win the race for this particular target, and only time will tell if Pochettino acts on his admiration for an undeniable talent.
