A report involving Mauricio Pochettino, Harry Kane and Dele Alli should concern Tottenham supporters, in our view.
Speaking to Italian news outlet Calciomercato, journalist Luigi Guelpa revealed that there are three names on Pochettino’s list if he replaces Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.
One is Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, while the other two are, as you may have guessed, Kane and Alli.
Why should this concern supporters? Well, in our view, Real Madrid could mount a serious move to sign the Spurs duo as they look to return to football’s summit.
Without a doubt, Los Blancos are arguably the biggest club in the world. However, they currently sit fourth in La Liga, six points behind rivals Atletico Madrid – they are somewhat stagnating.
Additionally, while they may have finished top of Group B in the Champions League, Zidane oversaw two defeats and a draw – it was far from convincing.

Throw in the fact that key players such as 32-year-old Karim Benzema, 34-year-old Sergio Ramos, 35-year-old Luka Modric and 32-year-old Marcelo are past their peak, you would feel that an expensive squad overhaul is coming.
If Calciomercato are to be believed, that would put Tottenham at risk of losing Kane and their £5 million maestro Alli.
The Spanish champions have a tendency to splash the cash, and have an almost unmatched pulling power across Europe.

Florentino Pérez’s previous signings when things are going slightly stale, such as the £56 million and £80 million additions of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo in the same window, prove that Real Madrid don’t mess around.
It remains to be seen if Pérez even decides to sack Zidane.
However, this report should still provide plenty of concern for Tottenham supporters due to the aforementioned points.
