The Tottenham Hotspur winger has the potential to become a fan favourite at White Hart Lane.

Anyone who saw Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s cameo for Tottenham Hotspur against Aston Villa on Sunday will know the winger has the potential to go down a storm at White Hart Lane. So why on earth is he getting so few chances when the underperforming Vincent Janssen continues to feature?

The two men obviously occupy very different positions on the pitch, but N’Koudou would not be blamed for feeling aggrieved at his lack of game time when he has – more often than not – impressed when he has featured.

In contrast Janssen’s confidence looks shot, and any promise he showed in his initial outings has been replaced by a desperation that comes when a striker is so woefully short of form.

N’Koudou has only been granted five brief Premier League appearances to date, totalling just 36 minutes, but despite barely being seen Tottenham fans are growing increasingly excited by his potential.

The 20-minute, game-changing run out against Villa only reinforced their belief and Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino must show N’Koudou the same courtesy he has shown Janssen.

If he does, the young winger could fly.
