Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the Tottenham Hotspur target.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Manchester United have made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt winger Ante Rebic’s representatives over the possibility of signing the Tottenham-linked star this summer.
The 24-year-old shone for Croatia at the World Cup in Russia this summer, demonstrating immense quality, as well as an impressive work ethic for a wide attacking player.
Tottenham registered their interest in signing Rebic earlier this month, according to a report from Sport Bild, with a potential £26.3 million move to north London being mooted.
Spurs appeared to have a free run at the Croatian this summer, up until now that is.
The Daily Mail claims that Manchester United are keen to sign Rebic themselves, and have already initiated contact with the winger’s representatives regarding the possibility of bringing him to Old Trafford this summer.
The Eintracht Frankfurt ace is a top class performer, and he will surely prove to be a superb addition for whichever club wins the race for his signature.
And judging by the Daily Mail’s latest report, Tottenham will have to act fast if they want to be that club.
