Tottenham Hotspur might experience the same difficulties that Arsenal went through after moving stadium in 2006.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters about the club’s move to their new stadium, and suggested that he hopes he is not forced to sell his best players, as Arsene Wenger did when Arsenal moved to the Emirates way back in 2006, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Spurs currently have a whole host of top class players, and some of Europe’s biggest teams will surely be targeting them in the summer.
Tottenham’s move to their new stadium has been a costly one from a financial perspective, as was Arsenal’s 13 years ago, and if they receive lucrative offers for some of their key men, they might just find it hard to resist.
Pochettino, however, insisted that he hopes he is not forced to sell in the summer, as Spurs make their move to their new home, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“I hope that doesn’t happen here. I don’t know why it happened there [Arsenal]. It’s complicated to know what really happened then. It’s a similar situation but I don’t have all the answers. I am not the owner of the club, I don’t know the business plan for the future but what the club is doing now is fantastic.”
Between 2006 and 2009, Arsenal were forced to sell some of their key men, including the likes of Thierry Henry, Emmanuel Adebayor, Samir Nasri, Cesc Fabregas and Kolo Toure to name but a few, and they subsequently dropped out of contention to win the Premier League title.
And Tottenham will be keen not to repeat the same mistakes made by their fiercest rivals over the course of the next year.
Whether the Spurs board are on the same page, however, remains to be seen.
