Speaking to reporters following his side’s 0-0 draw away at Bournemouth yesterday, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino highlighted the need for more strength in depth amongst his squad, as quoted by BBC Sport.
The North London outfit now sit fourth in the table, but are only one point behind fierce rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.
The Argentine spoke to reporters following his side’s stalemate at the Vitality Stadium, and spoke of the need to add strength in depth to the Tottenham squad, as quoted by BBC Sport:

“We missed a bit of freshness that you need in the first 15 minutes. If we want to be contenders, we need to win games like these. Maybe we need more depth in the squad to avoid a situation like the first 15 minutes.”
Pochettino’s men, despite their disappointment with dropped points against the Cherries, must surely take heart from the fact that they remain the only unbeaten side in England’s top-flight.
Next up for the Lilywhites are two games which could define their Premier League season, despite only nine game being played thus far.

They host Leicester City at White Hart Lane next weekend, before making the short trip to the Emirates to take on Arsenal the following week.
Six points from those games would be a statement of intent, and bring an end to their run of three successive draws in all competitions.
