Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters following his side’s dramatic come from behind victory over Swansea City last night, and delivered a message of gratitude to the ‘unbelievable’ Tottenham fans, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Lilywhites kept the pressure up on Chelsea at the top of the Premier League with three goals in the last seven minutes at the Liberty Stadium, which gave them all three points, after defeat seemed to be a formality as the clock ticked down.
And they remain just seven points adrift of Antonio Conte’s men, with eight league games still to play.
And Pochettino told reporters how important the club’s fans have been to their impressive run of form, highlighting their ‘fantastic energy’, as quoted by TottenhamHotspur.com:
“I took one more time to say ‘thank you very much’. They help us, they are unbelievable – their energy is fantastic and they deserve that every time we play. We fight for them. Win or lose, it’s a game but fighting is always a fantastic thing we can do for them.”

The north London outfit welcome Walter Mazzarri’s Watford side to White Hart Lane on Saturday, and a win for Pochettino’s men would take them to within just four points of Chelsea, with the Blues not kicking off until 17:30.
Both sides have some extremely tricky fixtures to navigate the season, so all is very much still to play for.
And if Pochettino manages to guide his club to their first league title since 1961, the Argentine will surely be talked about as one of the club’s all-time greatest managers.
