Tottenham Hotspur beat Borussia Dortmund 1-0 last night.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that he thought his switch involving Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen ‘worked well’.
Spurs travelled to Dortmund for the second leg of their Champions League last 16 clash, and were 3-0 up from the first leg.
Tottenham were solid in the first half at Signal Iduna Park as they rode out the early stage, and then got what they wanted after the break.
Harry Kane’s fine finish handed Spurs an away goal and a 4-0 aggregate win, as they didn’t allow Dortmund to get back into the game.
Spurs head into the quarter-finals of the competition now, and part of their success was down to a clever change from Pochettino in the first half.
Marco Reus was getting some joy early on, so Pochettino moved Son Heung-min to the left and Christian Eriksen to the right, switching almost to a 5-4-1 rather than a 5-2-1-2.

Dortmund couldn’t break Spurs down, and Pochettino has now talked about his change in the aftermath of Tuesday’s victory.
Pochettino noted that, after 15 minutes, he wanted to give his players more help against the Dortmund attack, so made the tactical switch – and felt that it ‘worked well’ as Spurs didn’t concede.
“After 15 minutes we changed the position of Son and Christian Eriksen and yes, we tried to provide the players on the pitch with more solutions and try to help,” said Pochettino. “I think that worked well, we didn’t concede, of course we conceded some chances, but the team always felt confident on the pitch,” he added.
