Tottenham Hotspur beat Bournemouth 4-1 in the Premier League yesterday.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s superb 4-1 win away at Bournemouth yesterday, and shared why Serge Aurier was particularly pleased in the dressing room after the match, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs climbed up to third position in the Premier League table with all three points against the Cherries, and kept their hopes of finishing in the runners up spot alive, with just four points separating them and second placed Manchester United.

Pochettino would have been delighted with the manner in which his side bounced back from their Champions League disappointment in midweek.
The final score probably flattered the Lilywhites a touch, who were put through their paces by Eddie Howe’s side.
Pochettino spoke to reporters after the match, and explained why Aurier was feeling particularly happy in the dressing room, as quoted by Football.London:

“Yes he was happy. He was happy for the victory and then when you score it’s a massive moment for the players. For him it’s special because he’s not a player who scores a lot of goals during the season.”
Next up for Aurier and co is their FA Cup clash with Swansea on Saturday, and Pochettino’s side will surely be fired up for the contest, considering that it represents their only chance of winning a major trophy this season.
