Spurs were dominant yesterday, during their 4-1 win away at Watford, but Mauricio Pochettino suggested that they will be carrying the underdog tag into their clash with Chelsea on Wednesday night, and suggested that they could be the Leicester of last season, in the sense that other club’s fans will be routing for them, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The Argentine has successfully managed to guide his side through an incredibly tricky spell earlier on in the campaign, aided by the return of Harry Kane, and they now find themselves back inside the top four, but still 10 points adrift of Antonio Conte’s men.

And Pochettino told reporters how, for once, other teams will be cheering Tottenham on to success on Wednesday night, as quoted by the Daily Mail:
“Maybe we will feel how Leicester feel last season, when all the teams were with them and against us. Maybe now we are Leicester.”

Their game against the Blues this week will arguably be the toughest test they have faced all season, with Conte’s men heading into the clash own the back of 13 consecutive Premier League wins.
And nothing less than a win will do for Spurs, as they look to force themselves back into the title race.
