Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to Spurs TV about how winger Heung-Min Son has found his recent sensational form.
The South Korea international has been superb since returning from the Olympics this summer, scoring five goals in just a handful of matches to become a vital part of the Argentine’s starting line up.

They’ve been crucial, match winning goals too. With his brace in a rout over Stoke followed up by both goals in a 2-1 win away to Middlesbrough and then the winner in the club’s Champions League match at CSKA Moscow earlier this week.
Pochettino didn’t quite shower praise on the forward, but paid credit to his work ethic and determination, clearly of the belief that talented players such as Son can achieve as long as they put in the effort.
“That’s football,” Pochettino told Spurs TV. “If you work hard and if you believe and always you are available, you will always be paid back.

“And in this case with Sonny, that is what has happened. I’m very pleased for him, he deserves it and I’m very pleased for the team.”
It is some turn around for the 24-year-old, who looked like he may departing White Hart Lane earlier in the summer. Now he is one of the North Londoners’ most important attacking players, especially with Harry Kane out injured.
He is expected to be a key man in Sunday’s top of the table clash against Manchester City, and could see his stock rise even more if he helps Spurs to the three points.
