Speculation is rife that Tottenham Hotspur supporters could be seeing Mauricio Pochettino back in football before long.
The Argentine was fired as Spurs boss by Daniel Levy three years ago but he remains popular among fans of the North London outfit, due to what he achieved during a five-year spell as manager.
Things didn’t work out well for Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain, who fired him despite winning a Ligue 1 title last season.
And now the South American coach could be getting a swift return to football, with Foot Mercato claiming that he’s in talks to join OGC Nice.
If that materialises, it’ll see him manage the player he seemingly wanted for years at Tottenham – and then changed his mind.

Ross Barkley joined the French outfit this past summer on a free transfer, the same player who Pochettino challenged Chelsea to sign back in 2018.
He wound up joining the West Londoners but Football London reported at the time that although Daniel Levy wanted him at the Lilywhites, ‘it was Pochettino‘ who decided on pursuing other targets due to salary demands.
At the time, Barkley was among England’s finest young players after bursting on to the scene at Everton.
Things didn’t work out at Stamford Bridge, but Pochettino is a manager who helped Dele Alli – for example – find by far the best level of his professional career and Barkley – still only 28 – will be hoping that the former Spurs boss can do wonders for him now, too.
