Fernando Llorente has been linked with the Tottenham Hotspur exit during this window.

Llorente has endured a difficult time since joining Spurs for £14 million in 2017 (fee reported by The Telegraph). The 33-year-old has started one Premier League game, making 20 appearances as a substitute, and has scored just one goal in the top flight.
Sky Sports reports that he is one player that Pochettino could consider selling this month. And when asked whether the Spaniard would still be a Spurs player when the campaign concludes, the boss offered an interesting answer.
“I cannot guarantee any player is going to be here. You never know, in football you cannot guarantee anything,” he said, as reported by Football London.
Given Tottenham’s lack of striker options – especially while Heung-min Son is away on international duty – there may be plenty of fans who may be excited by the prospect of seeing Llorente leave.

Unfortunately, he has not been able to make an impact for Spurs. And his departure would surely only be sanctioned if Pochettino had a new signing in the pipeline who could support Harry Kane.
And given Llorente’s struggles, there are likely to be a large number of supporters who will be urging the club to twist and leave the path clear for the former Swansea ace to go so that a new player can come in this month.
