Mark Warburton’s men travel to the SuperSeal Stadium for this Friday night clash.
Rangers have the chance to strengthen their grip on second place in the Scottish Premiership on Friday evening as they make the short trip to face Hamilton.
The Gers are currently four points clear of third-placed Aberdeen – who have a game in hand – and though Mark Warburton’s side look unlikely to catch rivals Celtic at the top, second would represent an impressive return to life in Scotland’s top tier.
They are unlikely to have it all their own way on Friday against the division’s draw specialists. 10 of Hamilton’s 17 league games have ended with the points shared, and they made life difficult for Celtic in Saturday’s narrow 1-0 defeat at Parkhead.

The Key Battle – Ali Crawford vs James Tavernier
Accies winger Crawford looks like the latest promising prospect to come off the Hamilton conveyor belt. The 25-year-old has seven goals to his name so far this season, and looks set to attract interest in January.
Trying to stop him adding to his tally will be Tavernier, who remains an excellent attacking outlet for his side but has struggled defensively at times this season.

Last Meeting:
Hamilton claimed a point when these two sides met on the opening day of the season, with Crawford’s opener cancelled out by Martyn Waghorn’s leveller for the hosts at Ibrox.
Remarkably, Hamilton have not beaten the Gers since prior to World War II, with Accies last win in this fixture coming in December 1938.
