The fifth round of the League Cup is when teams and fans start to realistically dream of their Wembley day out. With only eight teams left, an appearance at the home of English football seems tantalisingly close to those left in the competition.

This week’s fourth round contains some mouthwatering ties, and the draw for the last eight will take place after the conclusion of the final fixture – the small matter of the Manchester derby on Wednesday evening.

So if you want to see who your team get or are just interested in who gets paired with who, here is all the information you require.

When is the draw?

The draw takes place on Wednesday evening following Manchester United’s clash with Manchester City at Old Trafford.

That means the teams will be drawn out at around 10pm if the Manchester derby finishes in normal time, or around 10.30pm if the match goes beyond the 90 minutes.

What channel is it on?

The draw is likely to be available on Sky Sports 1, the channel which is showing the match from Old Trafford, while all of this season’s EFL Cup draws have also been live on Sky Sports News.

Which teams will be in it?

It will be the eight sides who progress from the following fixtures. Remember, there are no replays in the League Cup so each winner will be decided on the night, with extra-time and penalties coming into play if required.
