Jamie Vardy, Jeffrey Schlupp and record-breaking Andy King are among the Foxes on international duty.

Leicester City’s title defence has not gone according to plan so far, so Claudio Ranieri and the club’s supporters will be hoping their international contingent can build up some confidence while representing their countries this weekend.

First up, winger Demarai Gray lines up for the England Under-21s against Italy Under-21s at St Mary’s on Thursday evening. The match kicks off at 7.45pm and is being shown live on BT Sport 1.

Jamie Vardy is in the senior squad for the match against Scotland at Wembley, meaning there is a Leicester influence in Southgate’s selection despite the withdrawal through injury of Danny Drinkwater.

To see whether Vardy can make an impact for the Three Lions, tune in to ITV1 for the 7.45pm kick-off.

Elsewhere among the home nations, Andy King is set to break a record this weekend. The 28-year-old will make his 40th international appearance as a Leicester player if he features for Wales against Serbia on Saturday, eclipsing the total caps earned by John O’Neill during his spell with the Foxes.

King is not the only Leicester man in Chris Coleman’s squad, with Tom Lawrence – currently on loan at Ipswich – also selected. To see if King breaks the record, watch Wales v Serbia on Sky Sports 1 at 7.45pm on Saturday.

A long way from Cardiff, Egypt host Ghana in the African section of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Foxes duo Jeffrey Schlupp and Daniel Amartey are in the Ghana squad for the match, which is being shown live on BT Sport 2 on Sunday at 4:00pm.

Also in Africa, Leicester players will be pitted against each other as Nigeria host Algeria (Saturday, 4:00pm, not televised).

Ahmed Musa has been named in the Super Eagles squad, while attackers Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani will be looking to claim all three points for Algeria.

Also not televised is Japan’s friendly with Oman (Friday, 10.20am), which will feature Leicester striker Shinji Okazaki.
