Alan Pardew’s side welcome a United team who are looking to build on their win over Spurs.
Crystal Palace have had their critics this season – at times justifiably so – but one accusation that could never be levelled at the Eagles is that they are dull.
Palace’s last seven Premier League games have seen 36 goals, with the most recent goal fest coming in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Hull. Though entertaining, the Eagles will need to improve defensively if they are to climb the table in the coming weeks and months.
Visitors Manchester United have not quite had the same rollercoaster ride of late, with three 1-1 draws and a 1-0 win in their last four games, but Sunday’s vital win over Tottenham closed the gap between Mourinho’s men and the European places to just three points.

The Key Battle – Yohan Cabaye vs Ander Herrera
Palace’s talented Frenchman has not been as influential this time around as he was last season, but he has a knack of raising his game for the big occasion; he also has a good record against Manchester United, having netted twice against them as a Newcastle player.
Herrera has formed a productive partnership with Michael Carrick in the middle of the United midfield and set up his side’s winner at the weekend; the Spaniard will be aiming to continue his good form at Selhurst Park.

The corresponding fixture at Selhurst Park last season ended goalless, with Palace tonight looking for their first league win against the Red Devils since 1991.
