At this stage of the Premier League campaign, it’s a good time to reflect on what’s already happened in England’s top-flight as we head into the international break.
Today, we’ve decided to assess the most creative passers to have graced the Premier League so far this season.
In the key passes department, WhoScored shows that Aston Villa incredibly have two players in the top four, while there’s a Leeds player who can be very proud of himself.
WhoScored’s statistics show that Ross Barkley sits second behind only Kevin De Bruyne in the key passes per game charts with three every 90 minutes, whereas the Belgian registers 3.3.
In fourth, Jack Grealish is only separated from his Villans teammate due to Bruno Fernandes’ presence. The Portugal international records 2.9 key passes per game, whereas Villa’s No.10 plays 2.7 every 90 minutes.

To be among such esteemed company in De Bruyne and Fernandes – two world-class players – is quite an achievement for Dean Smith’s creative duo.
In Leeds’ case, Jack Harrison is the man who can give himself a big pat on the back at this stage of the campaign.

The 26-year-old is level in fifth with Mohamed Salah, having played an average of 2.6 key passes per game.
That tally is higher than the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and James Rodriguez, so Harrison should be thoroughly pleased with his efforts in the creativity department.
