Tottenham Hotspur fans are hoping that Amazon come and buy the rights to name their stadium, amid reports Daniel Levy is holding out for mega-money.

Football London say that Tottenham want more than £250 million for any potential buyer, who comes to purchase the naming rights on their new ground.

That limits the amount of companies who could afford to make such a lavish purchase.

However, Amazon certainly have the spending power to make such a purchase, given the business is now worth over a trillion dollars.

And Tottenham fans are hoping that Jeff Bezos’ business does buy the rights to name the stadium the ‘Amazon Arena’.

Amazon, of course, have good links with Spurs after filming a documentary series about the club during the 2019/20 campaign.

If Tottenham were to sell the naming rights to their stadium ahead of the summer the cash injection could boost their finances, which would enable them to spend more on transfers to add quality to the squad.
