Some Liverpool fans are getting very excited after a report by EuroSport linked them with a move for Reading midfielder Michael Olise.
Normally, you wouldn’t expect a move for a Championship midfielder to excite a fanbase that much, but the teenager looks like a real talent.
At just 19 years old, Olise has played in 37 Championship games this term, scoring five and assisting 10, so as you can imagine, Liverpool fans had plenty to say about this link.
The Championship has been the breeding ground for a number of top Premier League talents in recent years, with the likes of James Maddison, Ollie Watkins and Jack Grealish all shining in the second division before becoming bona fide Premier League stars, and Olise could be the next on that list.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether or not this deal comes to fruition, but if he were to arrive at Anfield, it would certainly be a welcomed addition.
