Tottenham Hotspur fans are buzzing after it has been claimed that Kim Min-jae is on the verge of a move to North London.
NaverSports claim that Tottenham are confident of snapping up Min-jae for £15 million from Beijing Guoan in the very near future.
Although Min-jae may not be the most high profile of players, he has caught the eye in China, and is believed to have excellent potential.
And Tottenham supporters certainly appear to feel he could be a great addition to their squad.
If Min-jae does arrive at Spurs then he could well be brought in as Jan Vertonghen’s replacement.
Vertonghen’s contract at Tottenham is due to expire at the end of the month, and he has not been offered a longer-term deal yet.
If the Belgian does depart, Jose Mourinho will surely want at least one more defender added, to avoid being left short in the position.
Min-jae would be in competition with Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga and Eric Dier for a place at Spurs, if he was to sign.
