Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that Manchester United have cooled their interest in Kieran Trippier.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Trippier in recent weeks, but there hasn’t always been a clear path to signing the Atletico Madrid man, with Manchester United reportedly in the race.
However, it now seems as though the Red Devils aren’t all that keen on the England international, and Arsenal fans have had plenty to say about that.
As you can imagine, fans are rather happy to hear that they have a clear path to signing Trippier, and with the Gunners in desperate need of a new right-back, this could be a fantastic addition to their squad.
Of course, just because Manchester United have pulled out of the race, that doesn’t mean he’s coming to Arsenal, but it certainly improves the Gunners’ chances of landing the former Tottenham player.
