Sheffield Wednesday host league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday.

Several Sheffield Wednesday fans have spent the past week campaigning for Frederico Venancio to start against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Portuguese centre back arrived at Hillsborough on loan from Vitoria Setubal in August, but is still awaiting his first competitive appearance for the Owls.
And with partnership of Glenn Loovens and Joost van Aken shipping five goals in its past two outings, some feel it is time Venancio was given a chance instead.

Here’s what Sheffield Wednesday fans are saying about the 24-year-old – one of them even wrote a column about it…
Against a Wolves side featuring several compatriots, it is perhaps not the worst time to blood Venancio, although the quality of opposition – whom Carlos Carvalhal has described are the best this division has seen in recent years – is likely to play on the Wednesday boss’s mind.
Having said that, Venancio is no stranger to challenging fixtures, having competed regularly against Portugal’s big three, Benfica, Porto and Sporting Lisbon in recent years.
Should Sheffield Wednesday throw Venancio in at the deep end against Wolverhampton Wanderers?
